it is chap goh meh today...
i'm sure everyone is having a good time...
being merry, celebrating happily.
i can even hear fireworks outside my house now.
sadly, at this very period,
our family has to face tragedy.
in fact, the whole of Australia is facing a terrible disaster.
almost 700 homes very destroyed.
and the worst for us, my dad's sis (my aunt) is one of the victims.
she is still missing, and there is no news about her.
she wasnt in the survivor's list.

now our family is heavyhearted.
we can do nothing except wait for news.
to our horror, the death toll rised higher and higher.
it was initially 65, then increased to 76, 85, 93, 116 and then 130 deaths.
my dad is rushing off to australia tomorrow.

my aunt spent her whole life helping people.
she work as a volunteer in the drug addict centre (something like rehab)...
everyday she faced drug addicts, and did her best to help them.
many people have been calling my dad,
saying that they will pray for her.
we are very grateful for that.
